What you share
Recommendation forms collect the stylist name, city and any optional salon, social handle, service details, appointment feedback, name or email you provide. City updates collect an email, optional city, consent and the page where you signed up. Please avoid sensitive personal information in submissions.
Why we use it
We save recommendations for review and directory development, and send an owner notification after saving. If you leave an email with a recommendation, it can be used to follow up about that submission. City-list emails are for the city launches and community recommendations you agreed to receive.
Public listings and private submissions
Submitting does not instantly publish your information. Directory details and community feedback may be used to develop public listings after review. Visitor forms do not provide public access to other people’s submissions or city-list email addresses.
Services and external links
Hosting, data storage and managed email services support the site. Instagram, salon websites and Ulta booking links take you to external services with their own privacy practices. The Ulta appointment link is an affiliate link and may involve tracking by the linked services.
Browser storage
Some recommendation and sharing features may use browser storage or the clipboard. Clipboard access is used when you choose to share the site. You can clear site storage through your browser settings.
Questions and requests
Contact @mychairlist on Instagram to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or deletion. Do not include sensitive information in your first message. Unsubscribe controls in city-update emails can be used to stop future updates.
